The recently-formed Wheaton, Illinois, law firm Casey Nelson LLP was founded by Illinois attorneys John Casey and Pat Nelson, who each had a strong history of litigation. They came together to form a boutique firm focused on two particular areas: criminal defense in DuPage County and elsewhere in Illinois, and divorce law in Wheaton, Aurora, Naperville, and other Chicagoland communities.
The design of this website began with The Modern Firm's new logo for the law firm, which set the tone for the site's appearance, colors and fonts.
Avoiding an overly-busy home page, this front door of the site offers an immediate introduction to the firm's founding attorneys: a large picture of the two is surrounded by basic elements including the main navigation, tagline, contact information, and a brief introduction to the firm.
More than anything else, however, this site is about content. Depth of content is a critical strategy for any website to gain traction with search engines. But these guys do content particularly well. The text of the site both introduces their practice and offers informative sections on, for example, the Illinois divorce process and FAQs from Should I take the breath or blood test? to Will my spouse be required to pay my attorney fees in an Illinois divorce?
And that's not the half of it. Other sections include client testimonials, a long list of successful results, and the firm's blog. Add a little search engine optimization assistance from our professional (and J.D.-holding) writers and reviewers ... and the site was ready to hit the ground running.
Casey Nelson serves clients throughout the Chicagoland area, with a particular focus on communities like Joliet and Naperville, Illinois — as well as all of DuPage and Will counties — near their Wheaton offices:
