Benton, Kentucky Real Estate Law Firm Keeps Eye on Prize With New Website

Long & Long, PLLC is a law firm with a vision and a motto: “Keep one eye on the prize, and the other on the path.” Eric Long and his father, George E. Long II, know the value of paying attention not only to a goal, but the best way to reach it. The firm has a long history in their Western Kentucky community, helping their neighbors with real estate, estate planning, and business matters. 

The firm opened in 2007 and prides itself on making legal matters understandable. Eric is focused on keeping things simple and straightforward for clients, and on providing customized, responsive client service. That’s something we try to do at The Modern Firm, too.

About the Website

Eric set his sights on maximizing the firm’s efficiency and reach through technology, and decided a new law firm website was an essential part of the path to that goal. He wanted the site to reflect the firm’s roots in Western Kentucky; to give prospective clients a good feel for the firm’s practice areas, attorneys, and philosophy; and to be easy to use. 

To achieve those goals, we walked Eric through our own website design process, starting with listening to his firm’s needs and making sure The Modern Firm was a good fit. We wanted Eric and George to have a website that reflected their ties to their community and the level of care they devote to their law firm’s clients. 

The home page features a banner photo of the local Kentucky landscape emblazoned with the firm’s geographical service area. Beneath, the firm’s practice philosophy is briefly and clearly set forth. Information about the firm’s practice areas, crafted by attorney writers, is easily accessible. The website also features responsive design to enhance its ease of use for readers on phone, tablets, or any device.
