New Website Gives Twin Cities Immigration Firm a Boost

St. Paul, Minnesota immigration lawyer Graham Ojala-Barbour outgrew his original website. Originally, just one page with some contact information was fine for a lawyer who didn’t need to do a lot of online marketing. But when Ojala-Barbour added another lawyer, Mirella Ceja-Orozco, he realized that his website could use an overhaul. Precisely because his practice was heavy on referrals, he wanted us to design a website that would look nice when those clients (and other lawyers) looked the firm up online. A friend and fellow Minnesota immigration lawyer who'd used The Modern Firm for his website recommended us, and off we went.

The new Ojala-Barbour Law Firm website expanded that one page to several, including practice area pages for asylum, family visas, deportation defense, and appeals. Ojala-Barbour was clear that he was not interested in the usual immigration law cliches, so we kept it straightforward, both in the information presented and visually. The banner picture that greets visitors to the site is a picture of a painting by a friend of Ojala-Barbour's, which hangs in the firm's office.

It was also a pleasure to write the biographies for both lawyers. Both Ojala-Barbour and Ceja-Orozco are actively involved in the immigration law community, including serving as officers for the regional chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and current or former roles teaching and mentoring law students. Both are fluent Spanish-speakers, and both come to their jobs out of conviction. It's very easy to “sell” people who are clearly committed to their work!
