Kristin Lay, J.D.

Kristin holds a J.D. from The University of Toledo College of Law and practiced with a small firm prior to joining The Modern Firm. Her background in law gives her a strong understanding of the unique needs of attorneys and how to best market their services to prospective clients. Kristin resides in Toledo, Ohio.

Responsibilities

Kristin leads sales and client experience at The Modern Firm, which means she's usually the first person you'll talk to when exploring our services. She helps prospective clients understand what we offer and whether we're the right fit for their firm.

With over a decade at TMF, Kristin has been central to our mission of Helping Attorneys Build Their Dream Practice®. She's shaped our services specifically for solo attorneys and small firms, working with hundreds of practices to get them online with confidence.

When you move forward with us, Kristin introduces you to the team handling your branding, design, and development. She stays involved behind the scenes to ensure everything stays on track and meets your expectations.

Unplugged

Outside of work, you'll find Kristin at her CrossFit gym, out on the trails with her two dogs, and never far from a great cup of coffee.

• Member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Northern District of Ohio.
• Hates driving, but is the best backseat driver EVER (Just ask family and friends!).
• Finds that good days/bad days go hand in hand with good hair days/bad hair days.
• Is a regular at morning CrossFit classes.
• Adopted two adorable Beagle mix puppies and isn’t even a little embarrassed about the number of photographs she takes of them.
