A native New Yorker, Jessica received her J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. As a New York licensed attorney, she gained experience in several different areas of law, having practiced both as an associate at small law firms and as a solo attorney. In addition to her law degree, Jessica holds a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Smith College.
As a copywriter for The Modern Firm, Jessica combines her love of writing and passion for the law by creating website content and legal blogs for attorneys in all practice areas. With her legal experience and extensive background in writing, Jessica understands the unique marketing needs of attorneys. She is dedicated to helping attorneys convey their firm’s message through the written word and build relationships with their clients by meticulously crafting every sentence of their content.
When she’s not at her desk writing, Jessica can be found singing, playing the fiddle, strumming guitar, or tackling a new instrument on her bucket list. So far, she’s fiddled around (pun intended) with the harmonica, button accordion, concertina, piano, mandolin, autoharp, and mountain dulcimer — she also has aspirations of learning the hurdy-gurdy one day. Apart from her musical endeavors, Jessica enjoys reading, listening to a wide array of music, knitting, rollerblading, and spending time with her cat.
