WordPress 101: Adding a New Testimonial

Congratulations on the testimonial! Adding a new one to your website is simple. There are 5 simple steps:

1. Login to your dashboard and click "Testimonials" in the left column, then Click "Add New" at the top of the page

2. Add a title

The title can be whatever you like as it's only seen by you in the dashboard, but it should be easy to tell testimonials apart. I recommend using the name of the client along with a few words from their testimonial. For example: "John Doe - Law Firm did such a great job..."

This way if you get multiple "John Doe" testimonials you can easily tell which is which in the dashboard in case you need to edit or delete one of them.

3. Write or copy & paste the text of the testimonial into the body of the editor.

4. Scroll down and enter in the "Author Name" field, this is the signature that will appear next to the testimonial.

5. Hit "Save Draft" to save it in WordPress or "Publish" to save it and make the entry go live on the website.
