Francisco Machado joined the TMF team in March 2025 as a Paid Advertising Specialist. A graduate of Florida International University with a degree in Marketing, Francisco brings with him nearly fifteen years of marketing experience both with agencies and as a freelancer.

Francisco began his work in legal marketing by helping out a friend who was an attorney, and quickly discovered that he loved working with lawyers and helping them utilize the unique digital marketing tools and services available to the profession. As his skills and reputation in this area grew, Francisco found himself working with attorneys in several states. 

Just as he was considering limiting his marketing services only to attorneys, Francisco discovered The Modern Firm. His skill set and interests were a perfect fit for TMF’s clients and their needs.

Responsibilities

In his role as a Paid Advertising Specialist, Francisco creates customized, cost-effective strategies for attorney advertising campaigns on Google Ads and other platforms. In addition to developing and optimizing digital ad campaigns, he tracks and reports on their performance, and adjusts them as necessary to ensure clients get the best possible return on their advertising investment.

Francisco has an intuitive understanding of the conversion path attorneys’ prospective clients follow and a gift for targeting keywords that are relevant and effective.

Outside the Office

When not working, Francisco enjoys CrossFit, spending time with his siblings and nephews, writing poetry in Spanish, and traveling, especially discovering local dishes and vibing with local music.

You May Not Know:

  • Francisco was born in Miami, grew up in Managua, Nicaragua until he was 16, and now lives in Miami again.
  • He has had a book of poetry published in Nicaragua.
  • Francisco has been a drummer in several bands.
  • He is currently studying and trying his hand at screenwriting.
  • Prior to setting his sights on a career in marketing, Francisco considered and rejected majors in archaeology (too much dirt) and architecture (too many all-nighters). His clients are glad he did!
