Chartier & Nyamfukudza, PLC is a longtime client of The Modern Firm. The firm is located in Okemos, Michigan, near Lansing, and concentrates its practice exclusively in the area of criminal defense, including trial litigation and appeals. The firm’s attorneys are so skilled in these areas, they have served as consultants behind the scenes to help other attorneys achieve success in complex cases.

The firm’s existing website had served them well, but it was a few years old and was beginning to look outdated (as all websites do over time). Since Chartier & Nyamfukudza prides itself on being cutting-edge and tech-savvy, it was particularly important to them that the website convey that image. The Modern Firm was up for the challenge of conveying the firm’s brand in a fresh, updated way.

We started out this custom project with a kickoff call to explore the firm’s branding. Although the Modern Firm has worked with Chartier & Nyamfukudza for years, we recognize that it’s essential not to make assumptions about a law firm’s strengths and goals. Taking the time to discuss the firm’s current priorities helped us get off on the right foot for their law firm website redesign.

From there, our website design team did the work of preserving the aspects of the website the firm wanted to carry forward, such as their existing color scheme and existing content, and recreated the design in a way that would be recognizable to their clients and colleagues, but unmistakably modern and up-to-date.

The result is a website that reflects Chartier & Nyamfukudza’s skill, experience, and assertiveness, designed to achieve their goals today and for years to come.
