Hara joined The Modern Firm in early 2024 as a graphic designer, but her love for design extends back to her college days at Western Mindanao State University in Zamboanga City in the Philippines. While earning her B.A. in Mass Communication, Hara was the Senior Layout Artist at a university publication.
Following her graduation, Hara explored a variety of positions, from working in the communications office of a private school doing graphic design to wedding photography and video editing. The common thread throughout was Hara’s eye for beauty and harmony and conveying meaning through imagery.
Hara began working as a web designer for a leading international web technology company, honing her skills for nearly two years in that role before bringing them to The Modern Firm and applying them to bring our clients’ brands and law practices to life.
Responsibilities
Hara’s role as a graphic designer is to develop an understanding of attorneys’ vision for their law firm websites and to express their brand visually through not only the design of the website but logos, digital assets, and print collateral. Hara loves really digging into each client’s background and helping to create a website that not only looks good but lets the firm’s personality and unique strengths shine through.
Outside the Office
When not working, Hara loves traveling, going to cafés and museums, taking photos, getting her nails done, and spending time at the beach. She also recently adopted a kitten she named Felipe (Pepe for short). She chose the name because it was the only one he responded to.
