Manhattan Criminal Defense Attorney Focuses on Growth with New Law Firm Website

Attorney Ricky Shah worked at the Manhattan DA’s office for nearly five years before launching his own law practice, the Criminal Defense Office of Ricky Shah.  As the name suggests, the firm focuses exclusively on criminal defense matters, including drug possession and assault.

Like many new law firm owners, it took some time for Ricky to build a consistent stream of clients. In the beginning, he was operating on a shoestring, and outsourced his firm’s SEO efforts to a team overseas. He wasn’t satisfied with the result, and when the practice began to thrive due to his own hard work, Ricky decided to reinvest earnings into a new website that better represented him and the practice. He called on The Modern Firm to help make his vision a reality.

The Website

Ricky envisioned a law firm website with a modern, elevated look, not something that looked like every other criminal defense website out there. He elected to create his new website using The Modern Firm’s Guided website design option. That process involves the use of some standard elements, but also allows for some customization. It’s a perfect choice for attorneys who, like Ricky, want to put their imprint on their website’s appearance, but don’t have the time to commit to the many design decisions 

The result is anything but the “cookie-cutter” law firm website look that Ricky wanted to avoid. The hero image features Ricky in the foreground against a background of Manhattan, with a navigation menu that makes it easy for visitors to find the information they need. 

Ricky also worked with one of The Modern Firm’s attorney writers to capture his unique approach to practice, so his website not only doesn’t look like every other lawyer’s; it doesn’t sound that way, either.

Based in Manhattan, the Criminal Defense Office of Ricky Shah serves clients throughout the five boroughs of New York City and Suffolk and Nassau Counties on Long Island.
