Boston Compliance Consulting Firm Gets Fresh Look with New Website

Compliance Advisor Professionals, LLC (CAP) is a compliance consulting firm, headed by Ellen M. Bruno, that helps investment advisors with SEC registrations, filings, examination preparation, and comprehensive compliance support. The team members are not attorneys; they have backgrounds in securities, finance, investments, accounting, and marketing and extensive experience in the compliance industry.

With a CPA and years of experience in the financial services field, Ellen established in 2005 because she identified a services gap among firms that provided compliance support. She believed she could fill it by providing investment advisors documents and services customized to the way their firms really worked, rather than the shrink-wrapped “one-size-fits-all” compliance documents many firms offered. 

That approach led to success for Ellen, her team, and their clients. But CAP’s existing website had started to look outdated; it didn’t convey the modern impression the firm wanted, or adequately highlight what makes CAP different from competitors. They enlisted The Modern Firm to help change that.

The Website

One of CAP’s priorities was to create a visual impression that suggested that the firm is up to date, not mired in the past. An important part of that was the creation of a new logo design. The updated logo calls to mind the firm’s previous look, but in a modernized way; the new website design echoes the elements in the logo, creating a cohesive and professional impression throughout the site.
