Complex Dispute Resolution Firm Highlights Unique Approach with New Website

Caffrey Hill is a dispute resolution firm  with its roots in Philadelphia and attorneys who serve clients throughout the United States in matters that include commercial litigation, litigation advisory services, and mediation of family law and trust disputes.

Attorneys Kevin Rethore and Nika Feeney gained litigation experience during long tenures at some of the world’s best-known and most-respected law firms. Like many attorneys, they found the culture and pace of BigLaw unsustainable for their own reasons. Kevin established Caffrey Hill as a remote law firm during the COVID pandemic; Nika joined him soon after. 

The attorneys, while both trained as litigators, really view themselves as problem-solvers: they want to help good people resolve meaningful legal issues. They had a website that was intended to be temporary, but it was outdated. Kevin and Nika turned to The Modern Firm to create a site that truly reflected the firm’s unique focus, approach, and priorities.

The Website

Because Caffrey Hill is deliberately different in structure and approach than most law firms, it was especially important to get the firm’s branding just right. 

The firm’s tagline (“Focused Strategy. Steady Advocacy.”) conveys immediately that this is not a frenetic litigation firm that escalates conflict. That impression is reinforced by the hero image of a paddleboarder moving across a serene mountain lake. The overall effect is one of calm and steadiness, exactly what Kevin and Nika work to create for their clients. 

The natural imagery selected by The Modern Firm’s website design team signals the firm’s intentional, thoughtful approach to resolving legal problems (as well as the attorneys’ love of the outdoors). It reinforces Kevin and Nika’s assertion that the firm is “unabashedly human,” and that they meet their clients where they are, and help them navigate whatever treacherous legal waters they are facing.
