Located in Kentwood, Michigan, Visser and Associates, PLLC has deep roots in Western Michigan. The firm’s origin dates back more than 40 years, when Donald Visser established his practice in downtown Grand Rapids in 1977, soon after graduating from law school. In 1982, the firm relocated to the historic Grandville State Bank Building in Grandville. The firm moved to its present location in Kentwood in 2006.
The commitment of Visser and Associates reflects its history as a firm. Service to the community goes beyond the office, into the personal lives of the attorneys. They are active in civic groups, churches, community education, and pro-bono conflict resolution.
The attorneys routinely handle almost any type of legal issue encountered by individuals and families, including estate planning and probate, real estate and property tax matters, personal injury, employment law, elder law issues, and civil litigation and dispute resolution.
In the corporate and commercial practice, services range from business formation counsel to complicated transactions and complex litigation in state and federal courts. Attorney Donald Visser’s experience includes representing business clients in several precedent-setting cases in the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court.
Visser and Associates chose a pleasing, sophisticated palate of grey and blue for their new website, complementing the magnificent photos of downtown Grand Rapids in the Home page slideshow. The firm fittingly focused on its dedication to Western Michigan by detailing the firm’s rich history and long-term commitment to the community. The website is a great example of how a firm can pay homage to its history while stepping into the future with an up-to-date, modern website.
