Because we only work with law firms, we can tailor our filters directly for their needs. We have special measures in place to ensure critical e-mails, such as court notices and case alerts arrive without delay. To block unwanted e-mail, we have nearly 30,000 anti-spam rules that update daily and work in conjunction with remote blacklists, redundant virus protection and statistical analysis.
Large E-Mail Capacity
With The Modern Firm you can receive e-mails up to 40MB in size and send e-mails that are as large as you want. This makes it easy to work with scanned documents and large case files. If you consistently send large files, check out our Modern Mega Mail service.
Program Of Your Choice
We don’t force a proprietary piece of software on you like AOL, Earthlink and other providers. You can use any POP/IMAP program you like. Common choices are Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Eudora, Mail.App, Entourage and Netscape Mail.
Web Access
A friendly web-based interface allows you to view your e-mail over the web when you’re out of the office, or if you prefer, use it as your main e-mail source.
Out of Office/Auto-Responders
Create flexible automatic notices to let the senders of incoming messages know that you’re out of the office or heading out of the office. You can customize the subject line and body so it’s great for a catch-all or service addresses such as info@…com or billing@…com.
Mobile Device Support
Easily forward copies of incoming messages to your BlackBerry or other mobile device. If your device can check e-mail accounts via IMAP or POP you’ll enjoy the speed and responsiveness of our servers for ultra-fast e-mail checking.
Alias Address and Domains
If you own extra or old domain names, it won’t cost you extra to maintain those old address. You can park up to 10 additional domains onto your account and can create unlimited e-mail aliases for your mailboxes. For instance, info@your-old-domain.com can forward to you@your-current-address.com.
