Brendan Chard - President
An Ann Arbor, MI native, Brendan graduated from The University of Michigan Business School. His studies focused on Marketing and Computer Information Systems.Prior to starting The Modern Firm, LLC (formerly Chard.Net) Brendan operated an on-site computer repair and technology consulting business that also focused on the small law firm market. Brendan’s experiences as a business owner and technology consultant let him bring a wide variety of ideas to the table when it comes to helping his clients succeed online.
Passionate about helping everyone, Brendan wants clients to become comfortable using and talking about technology. In fact, his favorite kind of client is one who may describe themselves as “technologically challenged” because often they have had bad or unproductive experiences with other vendors and truly appreciate the care, speed and patience with which their needs are handled at The Modern Firm.
Outside the business world Brendan is an avid downhill skier and golfer. Involved in the community he a member of the Minneapolis Rotary Club 9 and is a speaker at CLE events and webcasts in Minnesota, Michigan and Ohio. Brendan and his wife, Tawn, reside in beautiful downtown Minneapolis, MN.
