Prior to joining The Modern Firm, Kristin graduated from The University of Toledo College of Law and worked at a small law firm. Her background in law gives her a strong understanding of the unique needs of attorneys and how to best market their services to prospective clients. Kristin currently resides in Southeastern Michigan.

Responsibilities

Kristin’s role at The Modern Firm typically begins behind the scenes, where she works closely with our team to build client websites and lay the framework for the search engine optimization and online marketing goals of a client. Her favorite part of the job comes after the launch of the website, when she begins to interact with clients and see the results a website earns. Kristin conducts one-on-one training sessions, making sure clients feel comfortable and confident in managing their new website. Additionally, she works with attorneys to manage their online identity and to optimize their websites for better search results.

Unplugged

When Kristin isn't sitting in front of a computer, you're likely to find her grabbing a coffee at Starbucks, discovering new music, reading books, or roaming around Ann Arbor.

Kristin:

• Is an only child.
• Was born on the 100th day of the year (101st in leap years).
• Hates driving, but is the best backseat driver EVER (Just ask family and friends!).
• Is a Starbucks addict, averaging two visits a day.
• Finds that good days/bad days go hand in hand with good hair days/bad hair days.
• Often spends her lunch break playing kick ball with Oliver (her Silky Terrier).
• Wakes up at the exact same time every morning without an alarm clock.
• Is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
• Wanted to tap dance as a child, mainly for the shoes . . . but had a quick change of heart the second they wanted her to dance to "Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini."
• Has a talent for making mix cds and if asked nicely, will make you one.
• Loves to eat, but doesn't cook. Confession: She didn't discover her oven was broken for two years.
• Takes a lot of photographs and sometimes even gets paid for them.
